After more than 6 years of rescue work in Mississippi, we are winding down operations here and preparing to relocate to Pennsylvania in 2026. While we’ve worked hard to save as many animals as possible, there simply hasn’t been enough local support to continue. In Pennsylvania, we have an established team of volunteers who will help us resume and grow our rescue efforts. At that time, we will continue working with our trusted rescue contacts here to help animals in Mississippi and surrounding areas get placed in loving homes up north.

- Please do not contact us with requests to place animals in our care as we are not able to assist.
- We welcome other messages and questions, but please remember this rescue is run by just one person, and caring for the animals must always come first.
- I do my best to respond when I can, but if I’m unable to help, a reply may not be sent.
- We are not animal control and have no legal authority to search, seize, or investigate cases of abuse or neglect.
- If you suspect animal cruelty, please contact your local police department or sheriff’s office immediately. If they do not help, go above their department to your mayor, township supervisors, or even local media. Thank you for being a voice for animals!
